love/hate and hockey
Featured Image

Calgary is talking about hockey. This image of mine was included in a group show during exposure festival.  You can still view the piece Monday to Friday at Eighth Avenue Place on the second floor (plus 15) mezzanine with Skew Gallery as facilitator.  As a born and raised Calgarian,  I was compelled to make this photograph and include it in my series.  It illustrates my love/hate relationship with hockey as a young girl growing up in Canada.  The work is 29 x 44 inches of Lake Louise goodness.  I honestly bought the sweater because it reminded me of an old hockey jersey.  If you are interested in learning more about the piece you can contact Skew Gallery via email –

  1. I love this so much, girlie.
